Look: In the middle of... Nothing

A big chunk of my current work takes me to the Bay area a few times per month, and while I'm one of those people who love to drive across the country, hitting the same route over and over again does start to bug me.

Alas, the I-5 connection between L.A. and San Francisco is not particularly intriguing in terms of visuals, although I have to admit the sunsets along the mountains look pretty gorgeous, especially up North, before you reach the I-580 close to Tracy, CA.

Here is an iPhone shot from captured during my drive up there last week. It speaks for itself, and I will be witnessing one of those again the next two weekens.

Look: Fans jump on bus after SF Giants win!

As soon as the SF Giants won their last game against the Texas Rangers, all hell broke loose in the streets of downtown San Francisco. I just exited the movie theater on Market when I stepped onto the streets and was pulled into the amazing celebration madness. This shot sums up the fans' excitement. It was wild!

Look: Shooting a short at Ocean Beach

One of the projects I worked on this summer was my buddy Deepa Pathak's short film "Lonely Planet," and this is a nice shot I captured with my iPhone just before we rolled cameras for another take. Was a magical day.

Look: Inside San Francisco's Ferry Building

San Francisco's Ferry Building is a cool spot. Inside, you find all sorts of shops focusing mainly on excellent food. Prices are a tad high in there, but it's fun to walk around and discover some delicious treats.
