My name’s Franck, and I’m a digital video producer and consultant who helps businesses and individuals develop and optimize their video capabilities and visual marketing strategies to boost sales and brand image.

From pre-production to output delivery, I master each step of the production process meticulously to ensure every project is given the amount of creative attention it deserves. Between directing, shooting and editing, I've picked up quite a few tricks in my 15 years of experience, 10 of which I spent in the heart of L.A.

Throughout my filmmaking career, I've acquired the necessary expertise to successfully guide and manage production teams, and advise businesses on efficient video workflows and guidelines, equipment and virtual production facilities.
AERIAL CINEMA
As an FAA & EASA (A1/A3/A2) licensed remote PIC who's flown drones in diverse environments for a large variety of productions, I take pride in bringing my cinematography to the skies, while always prioritizing flight planning and safety requirements.

Production Lead
At IMD, I oversee a team of internal and external video producers and editors, while driving the development of new creative approaches and guidelines, raising output quality standards and delivering impactful video productions to internal stakeholders and high-profile external clients.
2021 - 2022
Head of Video
At Batmaid, I helped shape and lead an internal video department to produce B2C and B2B marketing and comms content for the startup in Switzerland and its expansion to six countries. My core missions were to boost brand awareness and conserve budget while maximizing output.
2014 - 2021
Director
Founded in Los Angeles, Open Valve Studios allowed me to use my filmmaking expertise to produce high-quality branded video content for prominent individuals and diverse medium and large businesses in the fashion, cosmetics and tech industries, including ABC, Samsung and Fashion Nova.
2009 - 2013
Co-Founder
At Filmtwist, we specialized in the event and corporate video industry in the San Francisco Bay Area. Aside from taking part in all productions, I also supervised the post-production process and quality control. We consistently increased our client base by 15 to 20% on a yearly basis.

I always made it a point to invest in what can serve me well on my quest to create high-quality visuals, and my cinema arsenal includes full RED Gemini 5K & RED Komodo 6K packages, the Canon C70, and the 1DX Mark II.
From camera to lighting, and grip to drones, it’s always been my aim to offer my clients a hassle-free one-stop solution by including all my professional-grade equipment in my video production services.
With extensive knowledge on camera ecosystems (RED, Arri, Sony and Canon), I have advised many of my clients on upgrading their video equipment and studio facilities to remain technologically competitive.
Since 2010, I’ve been supporting brands, businesses and individuals with top-quality, high-performing video production solutions.
I was born and raised in Luxembourg, and moved to the U.S. in 2006 to pursue a journalism degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2009, I moved to San Francisco to attend film school, and two years later, I relocated to Los Angeles to start my own video production business.
Since 2021, I’ve been residing in Lausanne, Switzerland, where I lead the creative production video team at the renowned International Institute for Management Development.
Besides filmmaking, I’m into mountains, competitive table tennis, aviation and writing. My favorite film is David Lynch’s Mulholland Dr.
